Financial Assistance

Espiritu Santo Catholic School is committed to making Catholic education accessible for as many families as possible. Many families use some form of financial assistance and/or scholarships over the span of their student(s) education.

ESCS offers several scholarships, including Step Up For Students and McKay

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Catholic Schools Tuition Aid Grants (CSTAG): Application Deadline March 2019

Tuition assistance funded through the diocese of St. Petersburg available to need based practicing Catholic families.

Application is available through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment as of November 15, 2018

Parents will be notified by email from FACTS May 2019


Mary C. Forbes Foundation

Privately funded for need based practicing Catholic families

Catholic Foundation Match Grant Program

The Match Grant Program provides schools an opportunity to generate additional tuition assistance gifts by offering donors the incentive of having their gifts matched by the Catholic Foundation. This program benefits the school both through the financial match as well as promoting individual gifts.


Catholic Foundation Step Up for Students Bridge Scholarship

This scholarship assists those families participating in The Step Up for Students program with additional costs.


Catholic Foundation Teams of Our Lady Scholarship within the Catholic Foundation

Knights of Columbus Assembly Scholarship Fund: Father Joseph Urbain Scholarship, Father Paul Clougherty Scholarship

These scholarships are awarded each year to students to provide tuition assistance.


Step Up for Students: Application Deadline May 2019

This state run program provides Tax Credit Scholarships to students in K-12 who come from qualifying income families.

Personal Learning Scholarship Account program (PLSA)

The PLSA is a state funded scholarship for students with certain special needs. It helps parents individualize their educational plan for their child. or


McKay Scholarship Program

State run program for students with special learning needs.


AAA Scholarship Foundation : Applications available for new families March 2019
AAA Scholarship Foundation (AAA), a private non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, is an approved Scholarship Organization in the states of Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia and Pennsylvania. AAA awards Private School Tax Credit Scholarships to eligible students from eligible households to help them attend an eligible private school of their choice.  Application available for renewal families February 2019
