Financial Assistance

Espiritu Santo Catholic School is committed to making Catholic education accessible for as many families as possible. Many families use some form of financial assistance and/or scholarships over the span of their student(s) education.

ESCS offers several scholarships, including Step Up For Students and McKay!

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Catholic Schools Tuition Aid Grants (CSTAG):

Tuition assistance funded through the Diocese of St. Petersburg is available to need-based practicing Catholic families.  The application is available through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment as of December 1, 2016 at this site:

Mary C. Forbes Foundation

Scholarships are available through this privately funded organization for need-based practicing Catholic families. Information about eligibility and how to apply is available through the school office.

Catholic Foundation Match Grant Program

The Match Grant Program provides schools an opportunity to generate additional tuition assistance gifts by offering donors the incentive of having their gifts matched by the Catholic Foundation. Catholic Foundation Step Up for Students Bridge Scholarship

Knights of Columbus Assembly Scholarship Fund

These scholarships are awarded each year to students to provide tuition assistance.

Step Up for Students

This state-funded program provides Tax Credit Scholarships to students in K-12 who come from qualifying income families. Visit the Step Up for Students website to learn more.

Personal Learning Scholarship Account program (PLSA)

The PLSA is a state-funded scholarship for students with special needs.  It helps parents individualize their education plan for their child. See and for more information.

AAA Scholarship Foundation

AAA Scholarship Foundation (AAA), a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is an approved Scholarship Organization in the states of Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. AAA awards Private School Tax Credit Scholarships to eligible students from eligible households to help them attend an eligible private school of their choice. Application available March 15th 2017.
